Windows Live Writer as an alternative of MS Word for Blogging

I have just downloaded Windows Live writer on my computer and this is the first post i am writing with it.Many bloggers around the world use it because its free and and a nice alternative to MS Word.The interface looks good and very similar to MS Word.There are easy options for adding links and images to your post in the sidebar.automatically synchronizes with Word press dashboard to show the post previews and options to schedule your post.I must say this is a must have for every blogger.Just go to Windows Live writer and download the installer.The installation process takes few minutes to download and install the 186 MB setup file.

Get connected with Face book,Twitter,MySpace and other social networking sites to send in your updated whenever you publish a post.Press F7 and you are ready to check your spellings and grammatical mistake.I wonder how come i still didn’t knew about this great tool.I started liking it when still i am writing this :) .You can add tags,choose you categories and put links with rel=”nofollow” just from the Live Writer itself.

You can directly upload videos and images from your computer the the WordPress upload folder , though i prefer using TinyPic and PhotoBucket.If you dont want to publish you can always save it as a draft , either locally in your computer or as a Draft in Wordpress/Blogger.

    I feel the most comfortable with Wordpress Non-Visual editor. But, as far as desktop blogging tools are concerned Live Writer is definitely ranks among the best.

    since last day , i am feeling quite good using it.Bydaway what do you think about the Captcha system for comments.I dont keep the comments for moderation now.they’re directly published :smile:

    I will never say that Windows live writer is an alternative to MS word. Because I never thought of comparing them in any ways.. WLW is one of the best Desktop blogging tool, where as MS word is entirely diff. stuff… Just my 2 cents..
